help with clutch

    i recently added more psi of boost to a car and the clutch is slipping now. problem is, i cant figure out where to adjust clutch pressure for the life of me!!!! any help will be and always is greatly appreciated, thanks!

    EDIT: 9000 is not where i started lol, just where i ended.

    Also, now that i think about it, will the differential make it act like the clutch is slipping?

    (the rpms jump to redline and then catch back up)
    it only happens a little in 3rd gear, jumps maybe 3-4 times, and then in 5th gear it will pretty much slip as long as i hold it, in high rpm of course..

    Hey,

    your wastegate range is too big. It starts opening at 9psi and is fully open at 36psi, that's way too much possible range.
    An optimal range should be somewhere around 2-3psi.

    The issue with this is, that the game cannot accurately predict the actual turbo pressure anymore with such a large range.
    In this case it doesn't predict enough turbo pressure and therefore engine torque, making the automatically calculated clutch too weak.

    We have two possible solutions here:
    • Increase the wastegate start until it's 2-3psi lower than the limit (proper solution)
    • Manually set a lockspring for the clutch, this overrides the automatic calculations and is therefore less desirable. To do this, you need to add a "lockSpring" paramater to the CLUTCH (!). In your above snippet you added it to the vehicleController, which is wrong.
