So, I'de like to get into modding, but it's kinda difficult. I'm all for learning by experimentation, but I have no idea what they do. I know what jbeam's and dae's do, but I don't understand texturing. any help?
"Texturing" per se is related to your 3D modelling knowledge and program you use. So for that you can check any tutorial about UVMapping. If it's a question specific to the game, please describe what exactly part of 'texturing' is not clear ?
Jbeam is main file of parts? like that? Engines Spoilers etc Dae file is 3D model of part or car made in blender.
What I mean is that the dae contains the model of a part, and the jbeam contains other things like collisions, strangth, and general behaviour.
