help with fps

    hello, i have a msi gf65 thin with a intel i-7 and a geforce gtx 1660 ti yet my game is running at 50 fps on lowest settings, i dont know what is going on

    I don't know, try to see if your PC is getting hot while playing, then it might be thermal throttling, or update to latest drivers, or close background apps.

    which map were you on? how hot was the laptop getting? and was it in its performance mode?



    Also, Were you using it with your charger connected or not?, most laptops dont use all the cpu and gpu power when they arent plugged in.

    if it is plugged in and is in full performance mode, maybe thermal issues?

    probably just, thermal throttling. laptops don't do games all that well. (from personal experience) especially if it's thin wouldn't be surprised that it's just thermal throttling all the way.

    Yes charger connected with turbo preformance mode on cooler boost, i was in the italy map and the laptop was getting to about 107 f

    thanks, how do i contorl that, this is my first gaming laptop and i have no idea bout these things.

    that's not even that hot. did you check the cpu or gpu temperature? i think you need an 3rd party software like QuickCPU or MSI afterburner to see the cpu temperature

    I mean, he said he was on the Italy map.. which, the hardware I have is too old to even open:p




    Also, did you have reflections on by any chance?
