I have trouble pulling up beside the rescue truck. i either overrun it or slam into it because of the buses bad handling. can i have any tips for this because its driving me crazy
Personally, I held to 40, going to 45-50 just before a turn. The key is to follow the racing line, it's the most efficient path that utilizes maximum grip. Also, cruise control isn't very useful IMO, you should use the brakes and it's pointless to renable it.
Not using a controller / Using a keyboard is penalizing you, due the limited controls you have over the pedals/steering. Holding speed is not hard, but you just need to practice more. Tapping keys is a known method (in any game) to go half-way between 0% and 100% input.
I finished the level and campaign so I'm good now. The only one I skipped was the 'action chase' part.
This mission is hard even for me. I suggest to skip this level once u fail to keep passengers in safe or fail to reach the safe zone after accomplish the first objective; because, even with cruise control active You have to steer sometimes; if You slow down the bomb detonates or if u keep high speed the bus gets off road, then BOOM.
The trick is keep a stable speed. No point in going 160kmh, when you only have to keep the speed above 80kmh, which is enough for most turns.
