Hi, folks. I'm Steve, and I'm glad to say hello to the rest of the BeamNG community(longtime lurker, first time poster)! I first started out with Mario Bros. games(Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Land to be more precise) back in the mid '90s, and my first racing game was Gran Turismo 3(which I may still have, but haven't played in several years), back in 2001. I first heard of BeamNG.Drive a few years ago-and eventually became very interested thanks to WhyBeAre, and certain a few others on YouTube, but it wasn't until recently-this last July, in fact-that I had a computer that could actually play the full game. And finally, after some deliberation beforehand, I decided to take the plunge and actually buy the game two weeks ago. And I've been hooked ever since. Also, I recently started up my own Let's Play channel on YouTube and just recently uploaded my first video(and it's about this game!). And apart from gaming, I also have done a fair bit of writing in my spare time, particularly revolving around the "alternate history" genre of fiction, and I hope to one day (possibly) become a published writer. Well, that's about it for me, but I just wanted to say hello and I hope I enjoy my time here.
First, Welcome to the forums! we have a great(ish) community here, and many rules as you have seen... Great idea to type an introduction thread. Hope you have a great time!
Hi! Welcome to the forums! Nice to meet you! I became interested in BeamNG because I was playing a ROBLOX game and got really interested in vehicle physics and started watching YBR videos. BTW don't listen to Screwhammered.
Hello, folks; thanks to all for the warm welcome. Really appreciated! For anybody who may be interested, btw, I do intend to set up a link to my YT channel shortly. In the meantime, anybody want to check out the LP video I mentioned? It's really long-and geared towards newbies(kinda like me, LOL.).....but I hope it'll be fun to watch, anyway, at least for the sheer amount of gameplay.(don't forget to turn on closed captions, btw!) (BTW, any helpful hints, constructive criticism, etc. is very much appreciated.)
We have the finest of dancing pigeons, and vancakes, and the finest of trees spanking blokes in tractors, even upside down! Oh, and don't forget, coffee machines.
