"Hide in cockpit" resets itself in the UI Apps menu

So when I'm ingame, I like to have my tachometer hidden when I'm in the driverseat/cockpit. So I go into the customize UI apps, and I check the box that says "Hide in cockpit". Obviously. After that I press the green "Done" button

But
When I exit the map and load a map again, it has been reset to the previous setting. Which is not what I want.

I already cleared cache in a hope to fix it, which it didn't.


Can anyone help me fix this bug? Or help me get around it so the game/settings will save the UI apps the way I want it.

Update: for some reason the game now knows I want the tachometer hidden in cockpit. But the issue/bug still sort of remains. Because the UI app config for other types of driving (bus, scenario, etc) doesn't always save the box setting. Because in the cockpit I want the tachometer hidden, which it does now, but I want the engine on/off, esc, drivetrain buttons to NOT be hidden in cockpit. It still doesn't seem to save my setting.

Update: Okay so after (un)checking the boxes the way I want it to, and I go back / Change to bus, or exploration or whatever / exit the map / exit the game, sometimes it remembers it, sometimes it doesn't. After changing and changing and changing it finally keep it the way I want it to. But I think this could happen to more players.

I hope the Beamng team finds the problems and fixes it for good.
