Is it possible to make wheels that hold up past 350 mph? The best wheels are the drag wheels and they just explode past that.

I don't really know if a stock car can go 350+ mph, even with mods

The stage 5 supercharger i made for the Moonhawk and the crate engines for all the V8 cars would have no problems going past 350mph if the vehicles were more aerodynamic and didn't become extremely unstable past around 250mph. most of them make around around 2000hp which is definitely enough to get past 250mph but the aero drag and handling instability restricts top speeds immensely.

350kmh is only about 220mph which is achieveable for almost any car as long as it has the supporting parts. including tyres, cooling, power amount, tall gearing and an aerodynamic body among other parts. 350mph though is a whole different beast. Top fuel dragsters get up to around 330mph or 530kmh. but they do it in 400m with around 10000hp (which is what they presumably have now), with great aero and massive sticky tyres.

Honestly tho, 350mph+ tires would be kinda unrealistic.

Fastests production cars in the world barely touch on 300 mph and for dedicated racecars to reach that speed we are talking top fuel dragsters and shit.

Maybe for some later update or as a small mod it would be nice but i dont see it as very realistic so far.

The guys speak truth. 350+ MPH is territory trod only by dragsters and dry lakes streamliners; 300 MPH is probably the very upper limit of what a production or production-based car could currently do (Gran Turismo doesn't count; that game has always had a very generous aero model).

I should have given more of a argument based on the OP so here it goes
Currently in game, none of the wheels available are capable of 350mph+ as far as i know, but there are several such as the drag tyres that are. This is most likely because of thier much bigger diameter effectively resulting in lower RPM which reduces the centrifugal forces of inertia radiating outwards from the tyre. This is a realistic sim of what most tyres are like because beyond even 250mph tyres become unstable and start to disintegrate because of the huge forces at play and lack of reinforcement. IF the game were to get some 350mph tyres they would need to be made of a solid material like the land speed salt racing cars that achieve speeds of well over 400mph. this then would have relatively little use to a game that contains everyday consumer cars and trucks, which are not designed to hold up at anything about 200mph where drag and power are the biggest limiting factors of a vehicles top speed. So i probably wouldn't be expecting a set of solid steel wheels anytime soon unless a modder makes some which could be a week or may not even happen. You never know the modding communites ideas are pretty random and spontaneous.

    Also true.

@daniel398767 has a sbr4 mod that has 2 config (mothra and godzilla) that also has a thruster added on top of the engines alrady being able to reach massive top speeds. While on gridmap i managed to go somewhere around 350mph (560kmh) without bursting the tires. Not sure if it's possible for every attempt or for longer periods of time. But that was on gridmap which is the most perfect flat road you can get. Hit a grain of sand at that speed and the wheel disintegrates.
