ALL THE MODELS ARE PORTED FROM THE ORIGINAL GAME AND THEY ARE THE PROPERTY OF ROCKSTAR GAMES So basically i'm porting Karin Futo from GTA5/Online to Beamng, trying to mix regular Futo and GTX into 1 car, to have plenty of tuning parts. - - - - - Overall: REALLY Lightweight RWD car. Base models are slightly over 1000kg Pretty good handling... 2 Frontend variants: Popups and Fixed 2 Unibodies: Hatch and Coupe Not that many prefab configs Already plenty of customization My pride - Modular Rollcage, where each component adds structure and mass. Hardly based on slideNodes. - - - - - Inside: JBeam built almost from scratch. For the most part it's taken from BX, but like ~90% is rewritten and modified. Had to touch nodeWeight's really much, so i took this car to hell and back... Engine based on Covet's 1.5 DOHC, but made it longitudinal, paired it with BX's gearbox (gear ratios taken from real AE86). Front suspension is simillar to BX, but overall geometry is my own, since mounting points are comepletely different. Rear suspension is 4 straight link axle with panhard rod (Moonhawk + Miramar + completely custom mounting points). Had to learn all the basics of real-life suspension engineering to make Futo handle like it does now. Far from perfect tho. Couple of unique tuning sliders, like if you install electric fans on radiator, you can tune at which temperature fans will turn on. Since it's my first big mod, don't get your expectations too high. There is plenty of work left to do, especially materials, since GTA doesn't use PBRs... So yeah, slightly remodeling, getting rid of floating vertexes, remade lights and bunch of other little unnoticable stuff caused by porting car from one game to another. And since i would like to people to drive this car, i'd prefer to upload unfinished mod, rather than polishing it till i get burnt out and never giving it to the public. Enjoy
I am glad to see that you have done some work on the door crack of the original model. If GTA's vehicle model is exported to other games without processing, the crack of the door is almost invisible, which looks very painful. You have done a really good job.
