Hirochi SBR4 Coupe Hello all! Please use this thread to post your suggestions, feature requests, and bug reports for the Hirochi SBR4 Coupe mod!
What weird front side do you mean? Consider this forum thread outdated, I will be updating the mod on the repo from now on. https://www.beamng.com/resources/hirochi-sbr4-coupe.22183/ This thread will remain as the Discussion thread for this mod
An update has been uploaded which aims to fix the incongruent reflections on the Coupe Quarter Glass. This update has not been approved yet, as of writing.
The front bumper should be a little longer. The current SBR4 vanilla is only 168 inches long, could lengthen it around 175 inches.
Hi! This mod doesn't replace any vanilla parts, meaning you can use it with any other SBR4 mod, or even the eSBR. If you have any issues, please let me know, as I haven't tested it extensively with other mods.
what i mean is having parts in the style of the eSBR or the 2021 facelift mod as only SBR4 parts are used
I will try to make parts for the eSBR. However, I cannot guarantee compatibility with 3rd party mods. My mod is meant to be it's own pack of parts, not an addon for an existing mod
i understand. no problem. im looking forward to what else this mod brings edit: front number plates dont fit
If I made the front bumper any longer, then the car would look too long, which wouldn't fit the design style of the SBR Oh dear, I'll look into that

With great respect to the dedication of the MOD creator, but the changes are extremely subtle. The roof design features only a slight slope and the rear bumper reverses the shape of the air outlet. Although it turned out very beautiful, I think it deserved a roof design that differentiated more from the traditional version. Anyway, it's a five star.
Top: Original Bottom: My Mod The original design's roof extends a bit beyond the B Pillar then suddenly slopes down, which isn't the bodystyle of a coupe, its the body style of a shooting break. E.g Porsche Panamera My design slopes down earlier and more smoother, which is the body style of a coupe --- Post updated --- I had originally intended to make a more differing change to the SBRC body: This is one of the early concepts I made. Setting aside the messy model itself, I felt that it didn't look like an SBR4, but an entirely different car with SBR4 front/rear bumper. I then felt that I had to revamp the design so that it still remains faithful to the shape of the SBR4. This was my design process while making the model.
I understand that it could be something between the current one and this first concept. If possible, you could increase the roof trim and even remove the rear seats and make it a two-person car. The MOD, as it stands, in my opinion, remains a "shooting brake". To illustrate, see the change made to the Cayenne and Q5, which got a coupe version: they kept almost all the components, but at the same time the roof design makes it clear that they are slightly different cars. In the case of the SBR, it would even be possible to lower the height of the roof over the front seats. Anyway, I send an image for idea (very poorly executed in Paint)... --- Post updated --- An idea: --- Post updated --- The detail on the C-pillar, the painting below and the increase in the engine air intakes and air outlet of the front wheels were intended to differentiate the side. I also modified column A (front) which I don't even know is possible or feasible.
That's a really cool concept art! I understand what you're saying about how the car still feels like a shooting brake, because it has rear seats and is the same height, with a lower rear roof. Some coupes do have small back seats though they are quite small and basic.
Agreed. This SBR4 Coupe mogs the SBR4 vanilla very hard. I am also considering using this mod as part of my SBR8 configs that will be released soon.
