You mentioned this mod (or config) to have 2 engines:
    • 1.2 I4 with ~ 60 bhp
    • 1.5 I4 with ~ 120 bhp
But when I downloaded your update (post #22) it seems that the 1.2 unit has 120 bhp and the 1.5 unit has 137... Just reporting. I reallt want to see how the 60 bhp motor will feel in the sunburst. Other than that it's a great addition to the game!

OK thanks, I fixed it. The 120 HP now belongs to the 1.5 and the 1.2 has 60 HP. The download link is in the same post.

If you want to start making an idea on how painfully slow that car is, well...

    Top speed: 115 km/h
    0-100 km/h: 33 s.

Probably the slowest car in the world! ;)

Maybe you could add license plate support? (So the license plates are like the ones on normal beamng) For realism :p

It already has, the mod is basically an add-on pack for the normal Sunburst, and it comes stock with the new Russian plates, but you can select the BeamNG plates anytime with the parts selector, just like this:

In fact this way it's even more real, since it's imported from Russia (and at the same time, from another country) you have to give it new plates first ;)

Oh, OK now I feel like an idiot, of course it's that ;)

Well, I would love to, in fact I want to do that with my spanish plates mod but that's something I'm still trying to figure out, so by now, I'm afraid it's not possible :(

It should be easy yes, I know that method for the texture and fonts, but before all that I have to add in the mix the new 3D size, for european plates, and that's my current problem, I hope to get it soon.

I tried changing to normal plates, it just keeps the russain one. And no I didn't mean customizable russain plates. Also, what I meant by realism, is, that if I'm on a US map, I would want to use a US plate.

Weird, as you can see in my pic there's no problem, the russian one is just another type of plate, if you select "License Plate" both on the trunk and the front bumper the game stock one comes in, like always.

As for the location thing...well, the only way to do that is using the game system, in which indeed depending on the map, it changes, but not only is beyond what I can do now, I prefer to stick with the russian plate by default, after all, it's a car which is not supposed to be in the US.

    Hi there,

Just thought I'd share my Idea of a cheap entry level model:
Based on the Hirochi Start 1.2 version of the mod:
What it contains is two versions of 1.5L engine, more powerful(105hp) meant to run on 95 octane fuel (standard European rating) and a detuned one (92hp) for 91 octane, since it is still common in Russia to have that one.
    Source: http://www.lada.ru/cars/granta/sedan/prices.html
Also reduced its weight, due to the lack of equipment.
Everything is kept the the same as before

How about rear drum breaks and half-indepentent rear suspension?

Nice ideas, I'll have a look, I don't have experience in engine tuning and configurations, and these are good. I also forgot to shave weight due to the equipment loss, so at least I should implement that :)

Would be lovely, I'll see what can I do about those. Drum breaks should be easy at least.
    --- Post updated ---
OK, things for the next update!

-Added the 1.5 105hp 95 octane fuel and 92hp 91 octane fuel versions (replacing the sole 1.5 option) (Special thanks to Günther :) )
-Changed the weight of the car (Special thanks to Günther :) )
-Added rear drum brakes in the rear axle:

    screenshot_00113.png

-Added a bit nicer window cranks (still a bit low-poly looking, but not that bad as before)

    screenshot_00115.png

And that's it for now. Enough things to make a new update I think!
