    They are already in

Also, the update is pending. :) I tried the car in several maps, including the Liberty City airport and it's all fine.

This car is a lot more fun than it has any right being. It confounds the basic correlation between performance and entertainment:

    Nice one! Thank you :)

Well, what about a new update? 1.7 is coming (awaiting approval), nothing really major, but...at this point there's nothing really major to do to the car.

Some new plates! (India and Kazakhstan)

New hood grille*! (Well, that could be seen in the previous pic as well)

And finally, the cupholders and armrest are gone from the dash!

*For trims with it of course.

The error is on beamng.com's side. You can still go to Version History and download 1.6 from there, although 1.7 just isn't on the server for some reason.

I dropped a message to the devs, the very last updated mods have broken download links...

    EDIT: Fixed!

Wonder what else you can cheap-ify on the Start...

An idea, perhaps you can make a new type of steering that is slower than the normal Sunburst, to simulate having no power-steering?

Just some ideas for making some "cheap-ify" parts.
you could make some super hard compound tyres to simulate long life tyres by lowering the friction coefficient to have less grip
A radiator that is not very effective and makes the car overheat easier
some cheap suspension that doesnt do a good job at absorbing bumps and is either very bouncy or very sloppy

that the only ideas i currently have but you get the idea

Very nice ideas! Problem is, all of those ideas escape my zone of confort a bit, I could try messing values but I'm not sure if I could manage to make a realistic behaviour after making all those parts "cheaper"...as always, I'll try and see what happens.

Increase the steeringWheelLock value to make steering slower (the higher the value, the higher the number of turns it takes for the steering wheel prop to go lock-to-lock). Increase it A LOT for an approximate simulation of unassisted steering.

Overly soft springs (lower the beamSpring value) + custom squeaking sound for cheap suspensions (you may use the specific parts in the Beater config for the Ibishu Covet as a reference).

    Suggestion (which could be impossible)
    - A cheap Single DIN stereo, like they aftefmarket ones you get in some cheap cars. Maybe instead of having a variation, it could be in the part menu? Sorry if this is impossible, but I thought about it.

Sorry for the wait everyone, I've been busy trying to make a RHD interior, but it's harder than I thought... :(

    screenshot_00159.png

...yeah it's not going well I'm afraid. I wanted to do that before doing other things, but I need some help, I already asked the devs but it's such an issue I don't want to bother them with such a thing, so if anyone knows how to make this work from scratch, it would be really welcome! :)
