I also run standard suspension over race for NS, and had to play around with FDR & rev limiter obviously to get the smoothest power curve.
150HP seems like the sweet spot to me with those narrow tires. Top speed is only around 124mph (200kmh), but it's setup perfectly to reach top speed at Schwedenkreuz/Fuchsröhre.

    Love the mod overall.

well im more into a touge build but i dont have a clue what i should put in i made a full race suspension but a little bit thicker rear tyres with Superlite rims and the drift steering to get more steering angle when the car loses traction on the rear but still oversteers and without workin ABS its quite a handful to drive

I'd try it with less power and narrow tires for a bit, and also with the tire mod.

I personally don't like the "snap oversteer" you get when running high grip tires on extremely short wb MR/RR cars with lots of power.
Sure, you can fix that with a perfect setup to a degree, but it still isn't as much fun to me as smooth throttle-steering.
That's why I removed the rear bumper, trunk/spoiler & rear lights as well, to get that 50:50 weight distribution.
I also put a stronger rear sway bar in to get earlier but more predictable and forgiving grip loss, especially paired with narrow standard tires.

If you ever had the pleasure of driving a MX5, Starlet or AE86 on a twisty mountain road IRL, with stock power and similar mods to make it more tail happy, you know how fun that can be.

First time posting, as I feel I actually have something to add for once. I was lucky enough to drive one of these a few weeks ago, and I'm extremely happy to have a Beat in Beam!

It's actually fairly accurate in terms of the driving mechanics, only thing I would say is that they tend to push-understeer a little more when driving it hard - and that was even with wider than standard wheels. It will snap oversteer, like this does, however it's more under weight-shifting or REALLY pushing hard. I know the model isn't amazing, but proportions-wise it's basically perfect. The engine also has slightly too much inertia - when taking your foot off the throttle it's almost like it has regen braking, should be a little less harsh than that considering the tiny engine/flywheel it has. Lastly, when under hard braking on hills (sometimes happens on flat ground but mainly up or down hills), the rear wheels seem to jiggle. Slam on the brakes at 40 and you'll be able to replicate it.

All things considered, for a project you even said yourself was just for "a little fun", it's really well done - so kudos for that. Looking forward to any future updates!!

We (maybe) have a name picked out already, to be more lore friendly we’re choosing Ibishu Haze. This current irl version will be lightly updated soon, while we work on the lore accurate one which will receive a new remodelled body and chassis

*note this may be revised and brand is probably sticking to Hirochi more so than Ibishu but not yet decided fully, waiting on the call of the KLJP overlords for naming :3

    Sidenote, wheel refresh -

I did some work on the engine and transmission for the SYNC.

I redid the torque curve to fit real life as close as I could. Redid the engine inertia/friction.

Changed some values in the flywheel. I also added the flywheel to the default configurations included with the mod.

Also, resized brakes and added the correct brake mass.

If you want to test any of it, let me know.

I am a bit of a fanboy of the A(Z-1)B(eat)C(appuccino) Kei cars.
