as the title states, I'm just kinda surprised no ones tried to or given it a shot, its such a cool movie car and historic TV car on the levels of the General Lee and KITT. The bruckell 9 would be an excellent base for it.
lopping the roof off in blender, using the wood post bed, and adding a chair, and some barrels and tidbits from 3d modeling sites, heck, id happily model whats needed to make it work.
It's not hard to do the modeling part whatsoever, People say it is, but its not, It's fairly easy considering Blender Allows the editing of DAE files, so, yes, I can do the 3D modeling part, happily. Nice try on trying to turn that around on me in a Smart-alecky way, with the old "If its easy do it urself" stuff. --- Post updated --- But hey, since you feel the need to tell me to do it(since it was a simple suggestion) ill happily ask you, why haven't you, you obviously agree that it IS easy, so why haven't you taken that chance hmm? Are you one of those people that just love to spark controversy or want to cause issue by stating the "If its easy do it yourself" BS? are you a forum gatekeeper of some-sort, a white knight for Beam NG? lmao.
Dude, come on. It's your suggestion, you don't really get to turn the 'why don't you just make it yourself' argument back on itself. It just doesn't work since, well, they do have a reason why not to make it themselves: they don't want to. It's not their idea. You seem to be suggesting you have some experience with modeling, so that's a big hurdle out of the way. So long as you're comfortable using the Bruckell Nine as a base, the only really big difficulty you'd have would be learning jbeam, and even then, you wouldn't need all that much. Enough to create rigid structures, and a rudimentary understanding of slots should accomplish most of what you'd desire. There are countless resources on the topic, including the Discord, the Wiki, and even this very forum for getting help understanding the tech, the language, and best practices. In the unlikely event that you take the above at face value, I wish you the best of luck. Modding for Beam has a steep learning curve, but it's hardly impossible and you can do most everything with free and open source software. If you are a big fan of this game or of tinkering around in general, I would say that learning to mod is worth it. And if you run into big trouble, don't hesitate to ask
Nobody's made a mod of it because it's nowhere near as infamous as The General Lee or KITT, I've never heard or seen it until now
It wasn't. If you look critically at this, you could even do something similar with assets that are already in the game. Same with jbeams, you'd really need to adjust the ones that come with Nine. Doing so, you'd likely figure out the basics and adjust the rest – if you know how to model stuff in Blender, I think you should get this too. Jbeams are not that difficult if you know what you're doing. Nice try on trying to turn that around on me in a Smart-alecky way, with the old "Nice try on trying to turn that around on me in a Smart-alecky way" stuff. But hey, I'd have even offered my help if you actually wanted to put in the work, but instead you're acting as if hurt your and your family dog's feeling. So I'll rather go back to working on projects I actually care about.

Are you one of those people that just love to spark controversy or want to cause issue by stating the "If its easy do it yourself" BS? are you a forum gatekeeper of somesort, a white knight for Be what help have you offered? or even attempted to offer atleast till I replied (especially up to now, which you have sent the help FAR after the fact which is a basic run down of J-Beam structure and how to modify it, which, is appreciated, don't think it isn't by any means it's more than appreciated.) ? Most if IF they wanted to help would have simply said "Hey it would be cool if I could help with this, I think it would be fun" As I've helped other creators before who needed help with skins, or 3d models (Under my old account Kgibson4) I've been here SINCE 2013, and have helped people and never said "Go on it shouldn't be difficult anyway"... Text is one hell of a neutral medium and usually for most people if not all its better to convey emotion more so than Smart-Alecky esc comments, again Text is a neutral medium and with the way the forums have went the last couple years its hard to tell the difference between GENUINE people and Trolls. If it wasn't meant with malice i extend the olive branch and apologize sincerely as of which I have started this. while I may be disliked, or anything for even SUGGESTING it or offering my help to provide the models to do such a thing, and defending myself just for a SIMPLE SUGGESTION. --- Post updated --- HEAVILY disagree, its one of the first TV star cars, but I don't really expect a Gen Z or Gen A kid to really remember it.
Jeez, dude, I don't know when was the last time I saw someone get so mad here. The problem here is that you act like a know it all but then ask others to work for you on something they have no interest in.
HEAVILY disagree, its one of the first TV star cars, but I don't really expect a Gen Z or Gen A kid to really remember it. Never asked, infact, i asked why, and why it was so weird that no one hasn't, but nice try on the gas lighting --- Post updated --- also, no one's mad, I don't know where you get that from unless it's just an extended version of "U mad bruh?" Then I suppose it's supposed to illicit some reaction, Given you ARE new to the forums. --- Post updated --- But again, i do extend the olive branch if nothing you have said was not meant with malice. --- Post updated --- But again, i do extend the olive branch if nothing you have said was not mean But, till then the post has run its course, there wont be nothing but continuing the drama on your part, even with my Open apologies offered, I do feel it's best to Move on and make the mod itself, I just figured I'd have asked why it was never the case given more obscure cars have made it onto the forums, But AGAIN, I'm moving on, any malice you spread from here on out is your own and will not be Acknowledged by me, UNLESS it is an acknowledgement of me saying sorry to you IF what you have said was meant with ZERO malice.
