The tires have to roll forward and backward a bit when steering because of the scrub radius. If you held the brakes on while steering the shaft wouldn't move, instead the tires would scrub on the ground a bit.

He was in neutral tho.. in real life wither in gear or in neutral when you steer left or right your drive shafts don't move so

The clutch and neutral gear selection don't disconnect the wheels from the driveshaft, neither in real life nor in any official BeamNG.drive vehicle.

i am very aware of that but when your in neutral and you move you wheel left or right your drive shaft doesn't move but in this case it does since when he turns it moves it back and forth and the wheels move a little witch move the drive shafts

Neutral disconnects the transmission from the transfercase. Transfercase is still attatched to front and rear axles. Neutral and clutch do nothing. When switching to 2x4/4x4, it is changing in the transfer case, not the axles. the driveshaft will always move, even if not powered.
