Hopper Sounds missing

I recently removed some mods from my stock Hopper folder to then install them properly into the Mods folder, but I think in the process I deleted my Hopper engine sounds. Now it just has the old sounds but they are really quiet. Can someone tell me how to get new sound files for my Hopper?

https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335&l=english

That will add back any missing files back.
It will also very likely replace modified files with the original ones.
That will only affect the game's directory, not your userfolder.

Hi, I have tried this a few times, to the letter, without success.
The Hopper still has the old sounds, not the awesome grunty new ones. How can I get them back? Do I have to reinstall the game?

The game will use old sounds if it detects an engine mod or sound mod for a vehicle.
It's possible you haven't removed that correctly.
If you want to go into hunting for that, go on.

Ok, Thanks.
I have had a look through the files, and I see that the sound files are the new ones, but it still plays the old ones. I will try a clean reinstall.

EDIT: I have done a clean reinstall, and everything is there now
