Well, i´m not going to create a "MOD" by itself ; i only want to make some configurations like "varietymod" or "Djlooppersconfigurations" to add my own models to the game, for example, "New covet SXI" and put different rims or engines. Need I to learn Jbeaming or is it as simple as I tought? (Overall, sorry for my english; i know it´s horrible) Thanks before all
Technically it's very easy, you just need to make thing in the part configuration, But, many people do that, and for me it's not a "mod" beacause anyone can do it him self ...
I've timed the entire process to under 4 minutes including packaging the mod. There's a reason everyone hates config mods, they're low effort.
Unless you pack 20 of them in one pack coughcoughVarietymodcoughcough time taken=10 minutes still not much work but hey you can't please everyone right?
To get it to show in the vehicle selection menu you need to edit a .JSOn ...So 4 times 20 is 10? I've been lied to my whole life!
The four minutes includes starting the game, loading levels, and packing zips, which accounts for most of the time and wouldn't change whether you're doing one or twenty configs.
Not when you're making additional skins OT : it's true - making config mods is easy. All you need is some creativity and the basic knowledge. One advice ; do detail work. Like own descriptions , nice thumbnails (not just screenshots) and before you start doing a config , remove all mods. They could cause problems for people running a game without them.
@NinetyNine! @Djplopper So... After making a configuration, how can i save and pack it without replacing anyy config in-game? I also want to create different skins... is it easy? Could anybody explain to me? Thanks before all
