How do I correctly launch the Hirochi SBR4 Hillclimb - Asphalt (Sequential) at the start of a race?

    I'm fairly new. I recently stopped using the clutch assistant option as I want to learn how to drive more realistically and increase the challenge.

    The issue I am having now with the Hirochi SBR4 Asphalt Hillclimb race car (Sequential) is that when I rev the engine and release the clutch to launch the car in first gear, it sort of sputters weakly forward for nearly a full second instead of accelerating quickly as expected.

    Can someone explain the correct way to get off the starting line fast with this particular car?
