So, recently i was working in blender to create a mod that downsizes the Covet Engines to 1.2 Liters but i cancelled it. Because after i exported the modfied model with the smaller engine, the rear view mirror had missing textures, the rear panel was a bright gray and the doors had a marble effect. Am i doing something wrong?

    Hi!

When modding official cars, it’s important to not override any preexisting parts unless absolutely necessary. In this case, I’d recommend saving your mesh as a separate .dae file with a unique filename in the vehicle subfolder, and only include the modified engine parts in that file. I’d also recommend having the smaller engines as a selectable option rather than overriding the default ones, as that can cause major conflicts with other mods.

Let me know if you have any more questions, and good luck on your mod!
