Is there any way of putting a damaged vehicle thats unable to drive safely in a transporter or something similar without messing it up?

    Thanks in advance :)

You could try grabbing the nodes with the ctrl key and pulling it onto the flatbed of your choice. And I'm pretty sure the editor would revert the car back to normal

This is a very extra process, because it involves using the in-game editor to literally select the car and position it the best you can on the trailer. First, you're going to want open the in-game editor (f11), making sure you're not in fullscreen mode (press alt+enter if you are). Then, once it loads, press tab until you have the damage vehicle selected. Press j to pause the physics (this is crucial when it comes to moving the car), and press shift+c to detach the camera (makes it a lot easier when it comes to positioning the vehicle). To select the car, assuming you already have the select tool enabled (you most likely will), click and drag over the area of the car. This may take a few tries because you could accidentally select parts of the map in the process. Once you have the car selected, you can use the three arrows representing each axis to move the vehicle around. I highly recommend using the arrows one at a time to have the most control over where the car goes. Once the car is in place, just press f11, shift+c, and j. Then you're in business! If I was at home I would've provided pictures. Let me know if you need help with this.
