As of now there are no tutorials for beamng, and I don't even fully understand all that wiki stuff, but there are plenty of tutorials for just making a car. First thing to do is to download Blue prints for the car you want to make, crop the different veiws, put them in blender, and use that as a template. Good luck, and I hope you turn out to be a great modder!:p

p.s. Its not very interesting, but its the best tutorial I could findhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=vnBywBgjNh0:

    p.p.s. I suggest using blender.

    p.p.p.s. DO NOT use sketchup

p.p.p.p.s. I suggest making a simpler car as a first car

p.p.p.p.p.s. I like making a lot of post scripts

Wow, blender can do so much! I tried building on it, but it is simply too complicated, I hate how many controls it has just to move things around. Sketchup has it so ridiculously easy! Is there possibly any way to make blender more "User Friendly"?

Ever heard of Autoesk 3DS max? I suppose you haven't. Much easier than Blender and it's used to make games properly. Blender is a physics and model programme. 3DS max is made to just model and render. No stupid key combinations to move an object like blender.

Oh, by the way OP, use 3ds max, you can download a free version of it at the students website. It gives you 3 years to use it.

Those "stupid" combination actually saves up lot of time if you memorize them.

Blender and 3DS are both excellent programs, one is Open Source, the other is Professional-aimed.

Its not too difficult, the process is very similar to this

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIxSwn9l41I

Only you do it with your keyboard. Its honestly quite strange that you don't check the wiki first. I swear that people are getting more and more lazy, intellectually.

Well, first of all, you're not very close to done. You finished the basic bodyshell, but you still need an interior, frame, engine, and you also need to separate the bodypanels and model them in 3D. Also, the model looks quite a bit too high-poly for BeamNG. Just look around in the showroom for an idea of the poly density of BeamNG models.

    You finish modelling it :p

Guy above summarised what was wrong nicely.

Then when it is finished it needs a JBeam making for it.

3ds max most certainly is NOT easier, in fact, its MUCH MUCH MUCH harder to use, my proof? ive used both before, blender is quite simple to use and learn, 3ds max? without a tutorial, its impossible to learn on your own, even to import something (not joking either, i STILL cant figure out how to get it to import something, i click import, check everything that needs check, and click OK, it freezes for a few secs to load the model in, then, IT DOESNT LOAD THE MODEL IN, not a single thing shows up

That isn't proof at all, that is proof that you cannot use 3ds max and prefer blender (nothing wrong with that btw). Different people find different tasks easy or hard.
