I have recently bought a used Asus Republic of Gaming laptop and discovered that it ran BeamNG quite smoothly yet i still receive some small lag spikes while running East Coast USA with 3 cars, i don't quite know what this computer can handle but I'm pretty sure it suppose to run BeamNG fine yet it's still getting these spikes. Any Help?

    Specs:
    Intel i7-4700HQ | Nvidia GeForce GTX 765M | 16GB Ram | Windows 8

BTW setting are currently on high.

1: check if BeamNG detects your Nvidia GPU (not Intel HD Graphics)
2: if yes, try turning vsync on in your BeamNG settings (in game)
3: if that doesn't help, press J in-game. Does your fps rise?

Lower your graphics settings. A 765M is roughly equivalent to a 750 Ti, not enough to run BeamNG in high settings. Try mid-high settings with low or no AA.

My 4702MQ and GT 750 M ran the game on low-med settings on 60 fps (gridmap, one vehicle). So Carbender shouldn't have weird lag spikes I think.

    Have you tried:
-Lowering settings? Especially the PostFX system (it's the ticked box at the bottom of the settings menu, try and turn that off).
-Monitoring FPS via Ctrl + F : It could say constant 60 FPS with lag spikes, or perhaps a constant 30 FPS.
