How do I recover the turbo stututu sound before the 0.24 update?

Before the 0.24 update, the turbochargers that came with the game used to have a stututu sound but in the update they removed it for some reason??? I haven't found a single mod that I can use on cars that are PART OF MODS (underlined, bold and italic because most people ignore when I say that). Does anyone know how I could recover the sound?

Note: The additional modification menu doesn't pop up on cars that are part of mods.
