How do you modify pitch for a custom engine sound?

Hello everyone! I am experimenting with different engine audio for vehicle and I want to modify the pitch to which the engine revs. I'm creating something like a 1980's arcade racing game car sound effect.

One case scenario is if you have one engine sample for 1000 RPM and drive the car in BeamNG. The sample will work at 1000 RPM, you can hear it. However, if you rev it - it will become extremely high pitched as the RPM's increase since BeamNG is automatically pitching the audio since there isn't any more samples.

I was wondering, is there a way to modify how much pitch increase there is for the engine sound? could it be one or more of the soundConfig flags in the engine jbeam?
