So when porting an engine, I really don't know how to move the props. There is a category in the engine jbeam but it only includes rotation. So I was wondering how to move it back, or remake it to fit with the vehicle. Code: "props": [ ["func" , "mesh" , "idRef:", "idX:", "idY:" , "baseRotation" , "rotation" , "translation" , "min", "max", "offset", "multiplier"] ["rpmspin" , "moonhawk_coolingfan_i6", "e2r","e2l","e4r", {"x":0, "y":0, "z":0}, {"x":0, "y":1, "z":0} , {"x":0, "y":0, "z":0}, -360, 360, 0, 1], ], This includes the cooling fan and "throttle" as it called in the jbeam.
Just open it in blender and move it from there, you dont need to reset all location thingies either. Just move it where it needs to be and export it
Thanks for the input, but I have one question, would I just export the engines, as in the V8 and I6, or would I do the whole body?
uhh, it depends. how did you export it before? do it just like that. but if you only got the engine and copy pasted the dae in the folder then just export the engine back.
I inserted the moonhawk materials, the edited jbeam files(i don't have the exhaust worked on so its not there), and the new dae of the Whole Body with the engine, in my designated folder. Here's the actual files, and I'll try something else in the mean time. I still need to edit the jbeam to fit with the engines so it deforms properly. it also did this to the dae(third image).
It broke the smoothing groups. I dont think you needed to export the whole body if you only added the engine. just export the engine unless you modified the body as well.
