how easy is it to make new content?

    i really want to make a volvo fh16 "globetrotter". will it be easy to make or will i have to get out those programming books from behind my bed :p

    Well you will need to create a 3d mesh for the visual aspect a program called blender is a popular free choice. The there is a hidden mesh which is for the physics.

    If it is like rigs of rods then it is not to hard to learn just time consuming.

    Arguably the true answer, is no-one really knows. However in a twitter post beamng, said: "we are constantly working on improving he usability for the modders, so in the end, it should be easier" I think the "should be easier" part is suggesting easier than it was for RoR, but I'm not sure.

    Beware you can't use real models in beamng since it will be payware i think...
    You need to use fictional models.

    Not true. Mods don't have to worry about copyright of names. Only content that you buy that comes with the game. Like Gabe's D15. Looks similar to a Chevy but called a Gavril D15 to add to his Gavril line and also save stuff from copyright.
