As of today (8/25/16) I've driven for the first time with exemplary results, the feeling of driving is absolutely chill and amazing at some times. So, how many of you playing BeamNG actually drive in real life?
I live Australia and currently have my L's but at the start of the new year i will hopefully be getting my P's and will be able to drive the beast that is in my profile picture. (its only a stock hyundai excel).
Been driving for over 4 years now. Currently have two cars that I drive; a Subaru Impreza 2.5rs 2000 and a Subaru Outback Sport 1998
Been driving for 6 years. Bought a 1997 Toyota 4Runner with 150k-ish miles off of a friend, throughout owning that SUV, I experienced alot of things, driving through someone's yard to circumvent a flooded street; having to pick the door's lock after leaving my keys inside and home was miles away; dreading that moment it was dangerously low on gas; took it on my first "mini road-trip". After that, I've gone through a few cars, mostly driving relative's and friend's cars, driving small, cheap hatchbacks to mushy, vague minivans to big full size pickup trucks, everything feels different, but definitely an experience.
I've been planning on getting my license for a few years but never really looked into it too much because I dont need to drive until I get a job, but I'm too out of shape to work pretty much anywhere, even a part time desk job and have next to no qualifications.
Yes. 90 mi/day, Mon-Thu, and more as well. Over 400 miles in an average week. I've driven since before BeamNG.drive came out, I started on May 5, 2012. I drive a white 2011 Honda Accord V6 EX-L sedan.
I have driven just a Saab 95 Saloon and the Hot Aero Estate version of the same car but my dad sold both of them but I do drive as my daily a 2010 Volvo V60 D5 SE LUX and I have driven the Volvo V60 D5 SE NAV (my brothers car), they both sound different but that is down to the exhaust I think but I am happy driving both...
I drive but the law wants me to be always with a person with a license to drive. But law don't apply to non-paved roads, so I can rally in peace
As of now I only have a Learner's driver's license ("L"), but in less than a month I should have my "N". (New driver's license. Then I can drive by myself, with restrictions, etc.)
Ive driven my parents' Kia Cee'd (pretty okay car but cheap as hell) and my brother's old Peugeot 206 (which was an absolutely shit car by the way, and I love peugeots.), never went any farther than 100m though aha.
I've been driving since I was 2 years old (Sitting on my dad's lap and helping steer a Jeep through a trail) and now at 13 years old I "own" 3 vehicles (1956 Willys Pickup, 1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ, 1995 Jeep Cherokee XJ) and an Axial Wraith RC crawler. Now I drive everywhere and anywhere, other that the road and I long for the day that I get my permit.
To be perfectly honest I have no idea how many miles I have driven I am not really sure on the exact figures to be honest...
drove a diesel ford fiesta at this young drivers thing, that was scary tho, you have to do all these mirrors etc. and worry about what the other people are doing and where they are going and predicting the future and (the easiest bit) driving the car. the instructor moaned at me for being quick to 2nd gear, im like thats what you do dont u, and she said to not touch the clutch, cos i was coasting a lot. -Have driven a Lincoln Town Car (private land of course) that was a bit scary, nice and easy until you forget that theres a V8 infront of you and you put your foot down and the front of the car lifts slightly :0 Havent really drove TBF.
I have put 25,000 miles on my car and maybe another 7,000 on my moms minivan. I love to drive and hope to take a cross country roadtrip someday.
