By "stock truck", I mean the truck that spawns when you load a map. That white D-Series V8 4WD. Personally, I change out the vehicle as soon as the map loads; I never drive that truck. When I drive a D-Series, usually it's a heavy duty variant or a high-performance variant (such as the Off-Road), plus it's never white - that shade of white doesn't look good on a pickup truck. (In real life, I drive a white 2011 Honda Accord sedan, so white does look good on some vehicles, real life or BeamNG). I remember the first thing I learned how to do in BeamNG Drive was to switch out the vehicle!
Put a trailer on it, Spawn in a moonhawk, and pretend I'm running from boss Hogg and roscoe p coaltrain.
Well, i use it when i'm trying out a new map. Also, have you watch a video where YBR said the stock pick up is unique and unobtainable from the vehicle selector? Plus, if you try to save the .pc file, the game will refuse to do so and the car is chrome in the vehicle selector
I saved the config just fine... Not sure what your game is doing... If you mean the file is mostly blank, I think that's normal. All the default parts are defined in the jbeam. The parts config overrides those defaults.
I still drive it cause' i have no clue on how to change it from the stock truck to anything else when i spawn in,but right after i spawn in i usually change to a ETK
you have to click on garage in the main menu. there you can select , customize your car and save it with the save button i've marked red
I actually drive it... all the time. Whenever I'm building a map I build it with the D-series stockie as a foundation. It's a pretty balanced 4-wheel-drive vehicle, so it's a good vehicle to test stuff with before tweaking things for the big trucks and low riders.
