Does anyone know how to insert a 3D object from a sketchup or blender into a beamng? I put them in the game, but objects are orange colors No Material, I always insert .dae files.
I was wondering that too, because me and my cousin are developing a mod called the Covven Hackal, a car based in a Porsche Panamera.
You need textures to get rid of the orange color... Not gonna tell you how, since I don't know myself, but a quick Google should help
Ok its in the material cs file you have to specify the material name and the texture you want it to be mapped to] EXAMPLE singleton Material(basic_matierial) { mapTo = "myBasicMaterial"; diffuseColor[0] = "1 1 1 1"; }; that is a very simple example read more here https://wiki.beamng.com/Vehicle_Materials
I tried to insert the file DAE 3d object into the game. When I insert the file in most cases, the 3d object is orange-colored NO MATERIAL. I've never edited the material.cs file, now I tried, but nothing happens. Nadeox1 You are a moderator, Do you know how these 3D objects are inserted into the game?
See the link I posted above. There are tutorials on how to insert Static Objects in-game, just follow those. Also.. interesting videos
.. Is this a joke or? I've linked you the tutorials page above. Explains how to do exactly what you want with Blender and Sketchup. Just follow those.. There are also video tutorials in there..
Yes, is a joke I tried several times, but from 40 times it only one time the object is ok , 3d object dont have material.cs, I download 3d dae mod file like Horse, batman, mario, dog, cat, from https://www.turbosquid.com/ ,
