I'm working on something, and I want to know how to edit the ABS systems to allow RWD burnouts, with it enabled.

ABS should let you do a skid, it's traction control and stability control that will ruin it for you.

That just looks like a typical american brakestand burnout, not very difficult to do. Why do you need to worry about ABS?

Indeed it is! But go get a Grand Marshal, put in a big V8 and 3.73 rear, and try to do a brakestand. It doesn't work, ABS kicks in for some reason.

You are correct, however in BeamNG ABS does engange. Perhaps this will be improved in new ABS which is rumored to be in next update.

You can see issue in this clip:

Yeah, the ABS kicks in when you try to do a burnout in this game. I experienced that too, is a bit annoying :(

Well yes, that's obvious :p I am trying to find a way to change the ABS programming to allow RWD burnouts. That's what the question is...

Sadly I don't know much about lua and such, but you might need to create such script that keeps abs disabled until certain speed threshold, but how to do that is complete mystery to me.

Read the front wheelspeeds, if braking was applied while their avg was less than say 10kmh, then ABS does not activate. Can't read rear wheelspeed for this because when burning out, the avg would be > 10kmh and ABS would apply, stopping the burnout.

So how would you change it to not engage above, say, 50 km/h?
