How to upload small replays/videos

Hello! I was wondering how to upload those little video type things, like the format the devs use to do little teaser videos, but not a whole YouTube video, like it has no format, but it- ok, do you know what I am talking about? Sorry if it get's a little confusing, just, anybody who does know what I mean, can somebody help?

No, not like that, like those little replay-ish things the devs used when they made teasers. Just go check out the update speculation thread, go back until you find 'em, they really stand out, but hey, thanks for trying to help!

You have to upload your video on YouTube then copy the link of your video, then click at that button then paste the link.

 

usually they're uploaded to a site like imgur, then embedded on a forum post.

 

As far as I know, you can upload it directly to the forum as well. If you click the Upload a File button in the bottom right of the reply box, you will get more info about file types & maximum size allowed

 

But when you upload a video by "Upload a File" button, people have to download it, but if you upload your video on a site, people can watch it without download it.
Like this file that you have to download it before watch it, it's just 22 MB but when a video is about 200 MB, download it take a few minutes, and waiting a few minutes is boring.

 

These type of videos are uploaded to streaming sites such as imgur or streamable. I think the devs are using a more professional one though. Also, you can use streamable for free (as I do sometimes) but the video is limited to 10mins and 250MB (used to be 1GB before) and it will expire after 3 months. When you create a membership (which costs money) the videos will stay on their servers permanently.
This is actually the reason why I created a youtube account, so there's less limit on video size, length and permanent availability.

You have to upload it on Google drive, there's no option yet.
