How We Are Responding to the SARS-CoV-2 Crisis (Or "The Pets of BeamNG")

At BeamNG GmbH, our employees are our main priority. In response to the SARS-CoV-2 crisis, we have already cancelled attendance at conferences, moved training courses to later in the year and as of this week we have decided to institute work-from-home policies for all our employees. This is not likely to have as big an impact on our operations as you would think, as half the company is already working from home from locations around the globe. The neccessary infrastructure and communications setup has been in place at our company for years.

Of course for our employees in Bremen this is a novel situation. It means that we're not getting the personal interactions one usually has within an office situation. No chit-chat around the coffee machine, no having lunch together. However it does mean some of us get to spend more quality time with our fluffy companions.



Following a rearrangement of the home office, here is my very capable assistant Rumble providing valuable input, oversight and encouragement while not forgetting the importance of regular nap breaks.

We thank everyone for their expressions of concern for our team. Rest assured we're doing all we can to stay safe, healthy and productive. Hopefully every member of our awesome community is doing the same.
