Hybrid cars, start-stop system, Parking sensors, and Rear Camera

I think those things would improve realism, thing about that.

 

These would be really hard to implement. And we’ve got a hybrid car mod.

 

you could possibly implement a rearview camera with some jbeam and lua trickery
jsz's attempted one before and proved that it was possible

 

hmm, i can think of some rough ways they might be able to implement start-stop and parking sensors, the real question at this point is just "is it worth the effort?"

I don't really see a need for sensors/camera when you can just switch to external camera and look behind the car.

 

nah you can just do it with the mirror texture and glowmaps
no need for advanced lua
it won't look so good tho
