I cant shift with realistic gearbox

I cant shift with the realistic gearbox for some vehicles for example the bastion but I can shift with vehicles for example again the Moonhawk is anyone else having this issue? I'm also using a keyboard for anybody wondering

 

To shift one gear up, you need to use the key "X".
To shift one gear down, press the key "Z" when the speed has reached the possibility to do so.
I learned this the hard way.
And the reason for shifting with moonhawk but not bastion is that the moonhawk has an automatic gearbox.

I've had to remap my wheel settings a few times in recent days when it's been perfectly ok since I got the game 4 years ago. Complete arseache when it takes so long to load on my machine in the first place. Very poor user experience.

 

no what i'm saying is that the manual transmission for some vehicles straight up dont work.

Maybe auto-clutch is not active? I can imagine it would be difficult to shift without clutch.
