MODDO 35C Hello! I'm bewi (or Ayca on beamng.com) and I always think about automotive designs, and i might have found something i think is a good idea! DETAILS Now, let's start with basics. The Moddo 35C is meant to be your car. You are the one who decides what paint it is, you decide what interior, what style, the customization is endless. All 35Cs are 5 door The main point of Moddo is to be the most customizable thing you can be in. Everything from paints, to different headlight and taillight designs (in the same package), to roof styles, you can do anything. (Yes, meaning this would be able to be a 5-Door convertible ) There are no trims, as you are the one who makes your car. Your customization is partially thanks to the 35C's Modes and Sub-Modes (See dealership options, packages, and customization for more personalization details below modes and sub-modes) MODES AND SUB-MODES CI - City closed top version with cargo room behind 2nd row of seats CI SUBMODES > Passenger - All 5 seats up with cargo room behind. > Cargo - Rear seats taken out, flat plastic load floor with blocked windows > Inn - Passenger seat and rear seats taken out, space for sleeping and living amenities along with window blinds as a dealership option CA - Convertible open top CA SUBMODES > Springs - 5 Seat soft-top convertible submode > Laguna - 2 seat soft top convertible submode Note: The convertible also has 2 side beams acting as the roofline and structure, see Fiat 500 Convertible for example. CT - T-Top bodystyle CT SUBMODES > Springs - 5 seat T-Top convertible submode > Laguna - 2 seat T-Top convertible submode Note: Long, dual roof panels stretch to the rear seats and are able to be stored in the vehicle thanks to the EV powertrain GENERAL CONCEPTS Friendly, colorful, inviting dealerships (Yes, not all online!) where you are able to change body panels, try different roof modes, and get accessories! Note: Roof modes would be quite simple to install and would not take long, and each mode is able to be used at all times, for example, T-Top can be used as a city car as well, so always switching isn't needed. Tons of customization options! Single tone, Dual-tone and Tri-tone paint options as well as separate colored roofs! Another cool feature is, lets say you aren't feeling your current paint style anymore? Well, head on over to a Moddo Center and they'll have the parts and colors you need for every style already there, or you could custom order them! Panels can be switched out all over! Such as dashboard panels, seats, exterior panels, basically anything, and are easy to put on! In fact, they can be put on in your own home. For even more customization, different steering wheels, logo placements, badging, taillights, headlights, and even dashboard adjustments can be made easily! Tons of different customization options for the interior, and you will never not be able to customize it. You could have yellow seats, a brown and white dashboard, and a pink and blue exterior! OPTIONS, PACKAGES, AND ACCESSORIES (MODDOGEAR) Packages > Cargo package (Includes rear window blocks, flat floor accessories, and extra storage below the cargo floor as well as protective items to not damage the interior!) > Inn package (Includes specially made camping gear, mattress, roof rack, and other fun accessories for all kinds of adventures!) > Sandy Package (Includes Moddo branded beach towels, swim gear, and summer stuff!) > Woods Package (Includes camping accessories from Inn Package and flashlights, kits, and other essential camping gear Factory Options / Accessories (Work in progress) Fun branded merchandise. For example; cups, pencils, art supplies, roof boxes, interior accessories for storage "35C" branded mudflaps, tent, car covers, repair kits, etc FUN DETAILS AND IDEAS Dealerships! These buildings will be for customizing your 35C when you aren't feeling yours anymore. These dealers would be nice, colorful, exciting places to be! With tons of things to experience and see before you even order your 35C! As said before, all body panels can easily be replaced with different colors and styles! Adding to this, there would be a minimum of 4 different style headlights and taillights that fit the same package! All of these accessories will be able to be changed, as you would expect, at a Moddo Center! I have no designs yet, but I'd like it to be happy but futuristic and modern at the same time. I'd want it to be a happy, cheerful design but with modern style. Also, you can put any designs if you were to have any. Also, yes this would have hubcaps, but it just adds to the customization and you'd easily be able to change rim styles too. Also, with badging! Badging can be however you want, basically when you get one, you would get the badges with it and you can tell a Moddo Center employee that it working on your vehicle where to put the badges, or you could just do it yourself! You can also get as many as you'd like and put them wherever. Disclaimers Yes, I know that this would be very expensive and hard to make. Yes, I know this is complicated. Yes, I know this is completely stupid. Anyway, give ideas if you have any! They will be greatly appreciated! (35C is a codename for now, no actual name at the moment)
Interesting concept I feel this is car mostly targeted towards younger markets, 20yr old's so I would recommend go for a lower price point but considering how much customizability there is I would imagen it would be expensive to develop and ensure each individual body style or spec is meeting safety standards. Furthermore assuming this is a startup company this would be extreamly expensive to develop so I would focus of pumping out cheap to make and sell boring cars before attempting to develop a new quirky car. Overall very cool.
