it's pretty amazing at satisfying anyone with a vague interest in cars. Smashing game. Just poor optimization annoys me. (like seriously an Xbox one can run this game but i can't with a GTX 960)
yeah tried it and beat it --- Post updated --- i haven't seen it on steam. is it on any other websites --- Post updated --- is it on steam?
Here's a full list of open-world racing/driving/includes a large amount of driving, that I can vouch for. Some are older than 2013, but they hold up really well. Mad Max 2015 The Crew (or the sequel next year) Driver: San Francisco Midnight Club: LA Mafia 3 has a good bit of driving and racing in it TDU2 was good, but it had issues with multiplayer (idk if multiplayer even works nowadays) The Forza Horizon games The NFS games that Criterion made are all solid, but they get stale fast.
closer to a GTX 1050ti. They aren't that powerful. The Xbox One X has a high power GPU, it's on par with the RX 580 but console optimizations and laziness when doing PC ports (cough FH3) means that a GTX 1070 would be more equivalent. I take back what i said about FH3, the settings don't really do much other than hog GPU and slow down performance, i get 30-60FPS and my CPU and GPU are almost constantly at 100% load.
I think this might be a good place to ask about this. I have been looking for a place where I could contact you about this. Who is that girl in your profile gif here on Beam.
The Crew is the worst driving game I've ever played if not counting mobile apps like "Ultimate 3D Car Simulator".
So, you like traffic that is scrambled together from real cars and cars from other Ubisoft games, looks straight out of a low level Android game and can't be damaged at all, a vehicle damage model worse than in GTA 3, a boring beaten-to-death-in-dozens-of-games-and-movies storyline, a selection of cars that manages to be completely random and lacking diversity at the same time, completely bizarre car customization scheme, cutting edge sports cars having a braking distance of a fully loaded Soviet van and pedestrian/wildlife NPCs from hell that give you heart attacks by freezing in the middle of the road or right over your head while still performing running or flying animation? (that's not meant to be personal offense )
