I got a quadcore but it isn't considered as a quadcore

    Are you sure it's not a dual-core with Hyper-Threading?

    I hate this. The title is supposed to be the subject of the thread. And the message is supposed to elaborate. All you've said is that you have a quad-core that isn't a quad-core.

    Oh, that's just BeamNG being weird. You've got a Quad-core with hyper threading. BeamNG sees 8 cores. So BeamNG gets confused. Just ignore it.

    Not all i7s are quad-core. Some mobile variants are dual-core with hyperthreading, but yours looks like it's a desktop version so you shouldn't have to worry about it.
