In pure gridmap, you can set your camera speed to 9999, which i did. I saw how far out i could go. I made it to 130,000,000 meters, where it was about to crash the game. i respawned and this is what beamng looks like. Driving is weird Going back to extraordinary lengths isn't much better... Lol its so fun to mess around with.
Actually, the physics should not suffer from that. It's just the GFX (greater coordinates > less precision)
So in theory staying under 130,000 x 130, 000 meter map engine still remains somewhat sane, that would be perfect for the 1:1 scale Suez to Cairo desert rally map, who is up for a challenge?
BeamNG's version of Minecraft's far lands! (if anyone remembers that) I mean, they both exhibit graphical glitches when you reach places far-away from the center.
