Love this game! I love everything about this game its WAY worth the $15 ppssshhh I'd buy it for $60. But $15 is great... If I were to be super critical the one thing about the damage is when a car is badly damaged there are odd parts that go through each other(red arrows).
but.png that's the only thing trust me I love this game ;) trustme.png

that's a known issue, and we all hate it. As far as I know the developers are still working on it, so it can get better hopefully.

Actually we already support self collisions with the wheels.

It is just very hard to design a vehicle with self collidable wheels (it needs too much complexity on the wheel wells), so in most of the cases designers disable self-collidable wheels.

In the case of the first picture (H45 Cabster) the wheels do self-collide, but because of a current problem (which we are fixing) with double sided collision surfaces, the wheel penetrates the underside of the flatbed and gets stuck to it immediately. This is the same problem that prevents loads from being carried inside the cargo box, or inside the bed of the D15. The nodes easily penetrate the underside and then get stuck on the outside of the surface, unable to go back in.

this here is an issue with sampling. try to make it sample better. it slips around the barrier through time. that is why it penetrates.

It has nothing to do with sampling. We know what the problem is already, and how to fix it :) If the wheel were on the other side of the surface, or the collision triangles flipped, it would never penetrate and get stuck.

oh cool, so i'd imagine that the fix would be included in the "Race" update? as it would be cool to put the bolide in an h45 and drive it to the track, or is it a fix you guys know how to fix, but will take a while to implement

We would like to implement it in time for the race update, but we can't say for sure if it will be included. It would allow for carrying things inside the D15 bed or H45 box :)
