I made a Big Mistake...

So, I was working on a map I was to post to the Repo, and it was based off Small Island. I was just updating and making better in general. I was overwriting the games original files, up until I was done developing, and was going to export and change files names, etc. I cleared my cache, because I hadn't in like 2 months. Everything is gone. Is there anyway to restore what I had been working on? I had spent over 20+ hours of time into it over the last 2-3 weeks. Can anybody inform me on a resolution? Thanks!

dang... ok. It needed some refining anyway, because it was my first map, but it was much better than what I had anticipated. oh well.

 

i go into that folder when i clear cache and look around and my stuff is there

 

it would be in a folder under documents/beamngdrive/backups/pre0.12.3

I only see files for decals and buildings, etc

 

Try other backups?

try other backup folders, look around a bunch. make sure to check the dates so your not lookking at an old file

 

Ah, found it! Thank you guys very much. I have manged to restore all the terrain and trees, but no roads and buildings. That stuff I can redo, however!

 

Try looking into your recycle bin folder, if the files are there, click on them and restore them. If not, I can't help you further.

 

Thanks you, I have already solved this problem, and I just uploaded my map, because I restored it earlier and fixed it.
