I need help

Hi guys so my game has this issue where in any car with openable door I can open the doors, the hood and trunk while my character is in the car but once I am outside it does not work I click on the box that should open the door but nothing happens its weird because everything works when I am in the car but not when I step out any tips on how to fix this issue?

 

Does the interaction box outside become green when you hover above it? If it doesn't then it is somehow unable to detect your mouse.

 

Yes it does but when I click it nothing happens but when I click it while inside the car the door opens normally.
