Hey, so I just had this stupid idea, but I thought it'd be interesting to make a "mod" for a lot of BeamNG's cars that debadge everything. Interiors, steering wheels, rims, grilles, etc. Why? No idea, but for rims especially it bothers me using rims from other brands on other cars.

Most cars have lettering and badges as a part that you can remove separately, but interior badging is not removable and sometimes external parts have a permanent badge (i.e. Sunburst grille).

So I was just wondering, if I wanted to make separate parts that have the badging removed, how could I go about this? Is it really hard? Do I necessarily have to do anything involving 3D model editing, or can I just do texture editing?

Sometimes I've found badging as a separate texture on some vehicles, but I don't know how to assign different parts with different textures. Like I don't know if it's as simple as, say, taking a rim jbeam, and telling it what texture to use, and pointing it to a texture that's the same thing (minus the badge) that I've given a different name.

So let's say I want to make a Sunburst hood without the grille badge. I copy the hood jbeam, rename it, give it a different name in the files (like "Hood (Debadged)" or something, but then what?
