To start off, Devs... thank you for listening to some of my suggestions. I really love the newer ESC system implemented on the new Cherrier FCV. It, and a bunch of other reasons, have made me fall in love with the car. With the ESC update... I really wanted to test what the modes change. So far, I've done a makeshift drag race between 4 of the same Vivace S 410Q Arsenic. Heres my conclusion... View attachment 653927 Blue is in comfort, red is in sport, and green is in Arsenic. There's a silver off to the right out of view at basically the same point as the green car. To conduct this test, I spawned each of the cars as well as a 5th car to stay in to make sure I don't alter the results. I then checked each car in "Arcade" transmission to be sure comfort runs in D while the others run in S, which was true. Afterwards, I paused the game, hit the throttle for each, then switched cars back to my Tograc qE. Then, I unpaused and let the cars get into 7th gear before taking this picture. With this picture, we can conclude (maybe unsafely) that the podium for drag racing is Arsenic, Comfort, and finally Sport. I've made a TheTopher style YT video on the Cherrier! Its fun to drive, fun to listen to, and fun to modify. I see this update being the start of many great things. This game has already been great with updates, but this has made the game much more immersive than it has ever been, which I'm sure the goal is. I really hope to see more advanced versions of ESC and driving modes including a UI that allows you to fine tune the mode similar to the SRT pages on performance challengers only for modern cars and a sport button on say a 200bx that stiffens suspension and steering. Overall this game has always been my favorite game... beating every genre simply for allowing me to do whatever I want without limits. This is an amazing product that I recommend everyone interesting in physics and cars and in between should look into. Devs, keep up the great work! What are you thoughts? I enjoy the direction this is headed. I see a great future for this game!
I'm not a 100% sure if it's the best update, but I think 0.19 rocks. I'm glad they remastered Small Island.
I've been through every thing since the old tech demo. By far, this has its foot in the door as it opens up the possibility for future projects and also shows they do listen to suggestions.
Oh cool, I'm glad the devs are listening to suggestions. Maybe they will eventually listen to my travel trailer suggestion.
I think the update is great in regards to new content, however I have found a few more bugs than I'm used to with the new update. Also, the Vivace sounds and drives so good it almost makes other modern cars in the game feel underwhelming, especially in terms of customization. I think once the devs iron out most of the bugs and update some more cars up to the Vivace's standards, then it will be my favorite. For now I still like 0.17 the best with the introduction of the long awaited Bluebuck and traffic introduced into the vanilla game.
