In the big box cargo truck (forgive me I forget the name), I want a huge load in the rear. Kim Kardashian style!

Basically, I want it to feel like there's a M1 Abrams tank back there. I increased the power, and a load would make things that much more interesting. Can I tweak some numbers to get the desired effect I'm looking for?

    thanks

Also, has anyone ever considered trailers for the models? That would be fun.

btw, there are actual weights and such you can spawn in (and, using the world editor, probably put inside the cargo van) and they do affect the vehicle as well (other then smashing it if dropped onto it ;))

Ooooooh, cool. I just bought it like 2 days ago. How do I access the world editor? Are the objects there when I press ctrl E? Theres more stuff than just cars I saw.

Unrelated: Lots of you guys have "ster" in your name. Interesting! Hmm

Press J to pause the physics
    open world editor (F11)
follow the wiki guide on how to spawn another car or object
put said car/object in the back of box truck
    close editor
    unpause physics (J again)

Confused why you all keep saying concrete.. Can I add concrete in the game? I can probably figure out how to spawn it if there is but I'm not so sure how to move it to the cargo truck, or pickup for that matter. Or to the trunk of the Marshall.

Its the concrete barrier, I find currently most loads just get stuck inside the truck after 0.4 nanoseconds

There are some collision issues. I spawned a covet in the cargo box, and everything was fine for 4-5 seconds until some parts of the car started clipping through the sides of the box and it all started to look weird xD :p

The concrete barriers are 1,900kg. 1.9 tons. You can put a covet in the back without any collision. Set the parking brake

Ahh thanks for trying. We'll figure this out.

Great, I just have to figure out how to move the spawned car in there. Let me try..

Also, when I fired up Beam, I saw this. Is it an update or just something else?

    2 ways:

    A. find it in the scene editor

    B. drag the mouse over it as if you were selecting a bunch of shortcuts on your desktop and it should select it

Making progress. That barrier is seriously heavy. I put it on the pickup and it could hardly move.

The barrier is 1.9 tons. In real life that would have punched straight through that fibreglass even if it was lowered on.

lol For sure! When I hit J again, the barrier basically tore right through, managed to stay in the cargo area for a minute, the fell out through the floor. I want a special edition cargo van with steel floor and walls! Wish I knew how to model these!
