I would like to go back to Version 0.17.1.2.9059 - x64 - build 9059

    So I don't like the way how the 0.18 Update looks and it runs really badly for me so I would like to go back to my previous Version 0.17.1.2.9059 - x64 - build 9059

    You can't.
    But if you don't really like correct lights, you can go all the way to 0.14.0.5 though:

    (old versions are unsupported)


    Performance issue are probably caused by something else.
    If anything, the latest version should run faster than the older ones, which are missing many optimization.
    Have you checked in Safe Mode already? Maybe some mod is spamming errors in background.
