Ibishu Feri (1987 - 1996) This is a mod I am working on with @Erik Marberg , based on the likes of the L300 Mitsubishi Delica and 1994 Toyota HiAce. Lore: The Ibishu Feri (Pronounced "fair-ee", like the boat) is a 4WD, cabover van Ibishu sold throughout the '80s and '90s, this pre-facelift model going from 1987 - 1996 in the lore. All models were RHD, as they were exclusively sold in countries like Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Britain, India, along with other RHD markets. Whether you get the turbodiesel or the petrol engine, the automatic or the manual transmission, this van is sure to haul your cargo, wherever you take it! This will, in fact be a free mod, and I plan to release it here, on the repo! Current Progress Images (All in-game footage, textures, and JBeams done by @Erik Marberg): Currently Planned Configs: (All use either a 2.8L Ibishu Turbodiesel I4 or a 2.4L Ibishu Petrol I4 and 4WD*, unless stated otherwise) Cargo (M/T or A/T) BeamCom Van (M/T) TastiCola Van (M/T) BHN News Van (A/T) Ambulance (A/T) Pickup Truck (M/T or A/T) DX (M/T or A/T) DX Taxi (M/T) DXi (M/T or A/T) DXi TrekPack (A/T) Luxe (M/T or A/T) Luxe TrekPack (A/T) Emperor (A/T) Emperor TrekPack (A/T) Overlander (M/T) Camper Truck (A/T) Ice Cream Truck (A/T) “Trail Slayer” (M/T, turbo swap and exhaust mods) “Derby Destroyer” (M/T, cut exhaust) “The Mule” (Rusted parts and panels) “Coal Train” (A/T, turbo swap, tune, muffler and catalytic converter delete, stacked exhaust) “Track Day” (DCT, turbo I6 swap, tune, exhaust mods, RWD conversion) Rally (M/T, MR Turbo Swap, Tune, Exhaust) V8 Swap (M/T, Bastion 6.5L V8, exhaust mods, RWD conversion) “Accipiter” (M/T, Pigeon-Made custom V6, turbo, exhaust mods) Bosozoku (A/T, exhaust mods, heavy interior and cosmetic mods) Rotary (M/T, Rotary Swap, RWD conversion) Expect more progress to be posted here!
It's awesome to see a lore-friendly Japanese van! It reminds me of the Nissan Urvan and Toyota Hiace.
Oh my god. This is exactly what Ive been looking for. Im a big fan over hiaces and other japanese vans and this is it. Wishing you the best for you and your friend over this project. Hoping to see more great stuff for this wip van.
any chance for a "beater" variant? would be neat especially with the age of the van! something used and very abused but always escaping the verge of death.
Dude this is awesome, and for someone with so few messages here, it's incredibly impressive! What kind of jbeam work have you done so far?
Never expected this any day before that a guy that has joined literately one day before starts with a bang! absolutely great job!
Currently, the JBeams for everything you see in the game photos (frames, front doors, roof panels, side panels, bumper, lights, base engine, suspension, etc.) are done. They were all done by @Erik Marberg , as I'm not too experienced with the JBeam language. I do learn about it as the mod is being developed though and I have been messing around with it, it's really quite the learning experience lol
