    Ibishu Mirena (2000-2010)

    Pronunciation: / mi-rii-na /

Naming: The Mirena is purposefully similar yet different from the Ibishu Miramar (that @Nacho Problem is working on so I would let her do the thing when she is far more skilled than me). Its naming is inspired by the real-life Maxima too (explains that it has only 6 letters instead of 7).

Inspirations: Nissan Maxima (for being based on the Pessima which is the BeamNG equivalent of the Nissan Altima), Infiniti M for the longitudinal engine layout

Lore: Ibishu wants to export LHD markets (mainly the North American, Middle Eastern, and less commonly European markets) with a newer luxury vehicle that is DIFFERENT yet having some semblances the Miramar as well as the Pessima. The Mirena being a longitudinally mounted vehicle, fits perfectly in between the two.
If you do manage to spot some ETK-based parts for the interior, that is because there is some assistance from ETK for the Ibishu to develop a highly-advanced modern sports sedan.

Body, exterior and interior in general (DONE):

    upload_2024-1-10_0-29-28.png

Interior (DONE): Retains models with the EUDM, but interior skins will be outsourced (Black, Beige, Gray Leather instead of Pessima’s cloth), cream and black/red (see latest post)

Gauges (DONE) (edit: both V6 and V8 will use the same version to reduce workload except GTz): 7000 RPM redline, 8000 RPM maximum shown for tachometer (same as the stock gauges), 280 km/h or 175 MPH shown for speedometer, everything else reuses from the Pessima

GTz variants (V6 and V8) will have a higher maximum shown for speedometer, being 330 km/h or 210 MPH, with tachometer being 10000 RPM max displayed, 8000 RPM redline (
Note the needles will remain the same except for the wheelspeed and tachometer's multiplier)

Interior navigation screen (DONE): Will be mounted in the central cluster (replacing the radio), SE-related trims along with racing configs will not have interior navigation screen.

    • Front bumper uses Facelift standard as basis, separated objects with sport and race.
    • Rear bumpers will remain as one piece (Sport, Race, Custom, extended race bumper)
    Lettering:
    mirenalettering.png

    • Automatic will use both Ibishu meshes and ETK meshes (separate objects)

    • 2 Chinese configurations, one 3.5 Sport Luxury-based and another 5.0 GranTurismo-based (with different ECU for supercharger, 500-600 hp) (Yes they use Jinhai badge in the grille and custom Chinese character lettering in the rear) (X is mandatory) (Automatic only)
    • 1 Limited V10 configuration (550 hp, 200+ MPH, AWD and DCT only)
    • 1 Custom 3.5 Twin Turbo Top Speed configuration (1600 hp, 280+ MPH, AWD and sequential)
Police parts: Will ask help for the spotlight and partition, as well as other police parts from the Bastion, will likely not be in initial release.

Skins: Uses same UV map as the EUDM Pessima, TBD (will ask someone that is/are willing to design skins)

Tire Size (DONE): Will use 245/40R18s front and rears for standard configurations as 3.5 SE, SL and GTS. 245/35R19 fronts and 265/35R19 rears will be used for 5.0 GT configurations. 245/35R19 fronts and 295/30R19 rears will be used for GTz-configurations. Size 18x9 (all other non GTz 3.5 configs), 19x9 and 19x10 (5.0 GT), 19x9 and 19x11 (GTz only)

Cargo Load (DONE): Yes for rear seats and trunk as well.

    Q: What things are done?
A: V6 engine model (NA and TT, except for joining some separated parts), Front Mirena bumper (facelifted upper, sport and race under), Rear Mirena bumpers (accommodates quad-exhaust), Exhausts (not joined yet)
Interior skin in general (Black, Gray, Beige LEATHER), Gauges

Q:What things need to work on and need help?

A: Engine tuning, wheels, configs, rear suspension jbeam (adding upperarm to midsize_suspension_R.jbeam) . Most of them are done (reusing the original midsize rear suspension jbeam for now, model is done), lettering could borrow some help for upgrading to b, nm, o and r maps from d, n and s maps (alternate approach to lettering is helped by @Bentonchiez )

    Q: RHD?????
A: Not the initial release lol, will be released in the 1st update that is POST initial release
NVM RHD will be finished too and will be released in the initial release

Q: But wait, you haven't shown us the superchargers and V8s!!!!
A: Yes they WILL be done, since I am split on using a centrifugal or a roots supercharger (if I am using centrifugal supercharger then it will take A LOT longer time though since I have no experience with centrifugal superchargers!, I might try to ask @JΛVI if I am allowed to use some assets from the Classic Engine Expansion Pack), Supercharger is done btw

    Potential bugs:
    - Hood is twitching hard
    - One bit of the rear quarterpanel does not work well for skins (mainly due to Pessima and EUDM Pessima having different UVmaps) but they are relatively minor
    - Rare but when driven extremely hard and crashing, the left exhaust might break off the car

Note this is my first (serious) vehicle mod that will be having its own vehicle slot, so please do not be too criticizing.

For a moment I thought this could be related to Talbot/Matra Murena, but sadly not.

I wish you good luck with your build and I can't wait to see how this mod will evolve while in development :D

If you want, I can create/share a few instrument clusters I made on SIM Dashboard for you to take inspiration.

Might consider reusing the original Pessima I4 being a 2.0L being a SR20DET (sorry NA 2.0 is just not powerful enough).

    Cool!
Will it have the average 12578235hp 10 turbo+4SC V10 swap that you’re so known for? ;)

Not too much but the bumpers will be different for sure. As well as the gauge cluster since 140 MPH is just too low for the Mirena's base trim top speed.

I might put in a V10, but it will not be present in the initial release.

For the suspension design, you can steal it from the ETK 800.

Go ahead and post the file, I will do the flexbody renaming as well as jbeam position adjustments. I will also credit you on your work on to automatic gearbox adjustments. Note that the automatic is a 5-speed.

As well as adding some LUA, especially shiftlogic to the transmission, by the way there is a mod file so I can find out the original character from the weight of the car to the character of the engine's torque curve.

Automatic gearbox ratios will not be adjustable in the game, so you will have to manually set them in separate jbeams, I suggest you use the Jatco 5R05 transmission ratios
    Jatco 5R05 transmission - Wikipedia

Besides I seriously need help in the gauge making (I have no experience in it) and even simplified the plans (speedo and tacho needles will only receive multiplier modification) so more people will be willing to help me out.

For the part you mentioned "Automatic gearbox ratios will not be adjustable in the game, so you will have to manually set them in separate jbeams" Actually I already knew that a long time ago

I can help with the design of the instrument gauges (unfortunately I don't know anything about modding, I can't make them in-game but only on SIM Dashboard ir other capable apps). I made a post on this before, it should be the third one of this thread.
