Ibsu Covet missing side mirror

    It is designed that way. All cars used to be like that.

    Im sure the covet is an 80s era car so they have both side mirrors.
    Cars pre 60s dont two side mirrors, which is why this is bothering me a bit

    I saw a 1980s honda the other day with no passenger mirror. No, it wasn't broken off. lol

    Nope. Not true at all. Quite a few Japanese cars from the 70s and 80s only had one side mirror. This was mostly just to reduce the production cost, since the base cost was fairly low at the time. Some even had passenger side mirrors as extra options.

    Most of these cars were from the 70s and early 80s. I assumed the Covet was from the mid-late 80s, so I was a bit confused too. It accents the "cheap Japanese hatch" persona quite well though.

    I have never seen any of these in the states or moved here back then, which probably accounts for my ignorance
