Hi! Sadly, I am on my Rubbish laptop because my proper one get wifi. Anyway, please excuse me if I make a grammar mistake or something. I will try to do it as well as I can Short-ish term ideas. So I do have a few short term ideas... Badge Branding. I recommend this on a car called the Burnside Siant or something like that that is based on the Gavril Grand Marshall, as Burnside is Gavril's luxury marquee. It would probably feature whitewall tires, Cream Leather, New wheels, a new grille and of course, new badges. Noise-Making Indicators. Each car company, and cat company time frame, would have different indicators. The Sunburst would have the same sound indicators as a Sbr4, whereas a pessima would have a different indicator sound than say, a D-15. Long-term goals. I do also have a few crazy long term goals. Used car Dealership. This would be accessed via a button similar to that of the garage. Inside, it would have the years and names of the car e.g 2011 Hirochi Sunburst. If you click on the button, it well tell you some facts, the odometer, how much it costs and the condition. In freeroam, it would be free, but on carreer mode it would cost money. Going further, you could even make it possible for players to upload cars. Thanks, the game is great.
I think Burnside at this point is basically dead. I don't think it would release new models of cars. I agree. This game needs some detail noises. Indicators, the noise when you pull the handbrake, the "beep" noise when reversing a truck, horns, etc. This could introduce another feature: Beaters. Cars that if you reset, some of the damage will not go away. I kinda liked this idea.
I also thought up another feature- Mod showcase. A mod showcase is where lots of mod makers come together say, once a month, and everyone is invited to a place where the mods are all together. The cars would be J-Beamless, and maps would simply have a video. mod is information about the mod that was done by the modmakers. Obviously this is a crazy idea
Ah yes. I forgot about that. Just look at Top Gear dropping a piano on a Morris Marina. The glass goes everywhere. --- Post updated --- Actually, that reminds me. The seats need working on too. And the steering wheel/pedals is annoying in a crash.
Yeah I think that it would be cool if the steering wheel didn't float in mid air after a crash, also the seats glitch out wayy too much,
A system like this but not identical to it and separate from it: (http://www.beamng.com/threads/overall-car-odometers.16893/ ) could be used to track the total mileage of a single vehicle over all its ownership history. It could be a separate gamemode, "Hardcore FreeRoam" where you "start" a new vehicle and BeamNG saves your mileage and damage of it indefinitely without and respawns. If you crash bad enough to the point of indrivability, you would have to "start" a new vehicle in order to keep playing in this gamemode. This new vehicle would be added to the "Player Cars" list which includes the mileage and a condition preview of all the cars you've "started" in this gamemode. In addition, there could be an option to hide selected "started" vehicles that are completely indrivable and you will not use again. Also, when you start a new vehicle it would reserve the next VIN from a very long list of VINs on the BeamNG servers to identify it among all the many other cars players have started. If we want, we could sync Beam with our BeamNG forum profiles so our profiles could show a list of those cars along with detailed info about them.
If I'm not mistaken, BeamNG already does this. If you look closely at the main screen, you can see that in the top right corner it says online. The devs have already figured out a way to connect to the BeamNG servers in game. So now they would have to just connect your steam accounts to your forum accounts and verify them somehow for this syncing to happen.
