So, the devs already have a direction in mind for career mode so I don't want to suggest anything too far off from baseline, but I've had some ideas that I think might add some fun to the game.

Disclaimer: These are suggestions, I know how hard game dev is and Beam is a very complex game so I don't expect any of these ideas to really be looked at or considered, just some fun ideas that maybe in the future can be looked at, might inspire the devs, or even mod makers! Also also, I've specifically marked certain ideas as 'This is wishful thinking' types of ideas, so I want to clarify that I'm not suggesting anyone just drop what they're doing to work on this stuff, just some nice things I think (Maybe most people also?) would find as fun additions!

    1. Add East Coast or Italy to career mode, I know a lot of people have asked for other maps, I like West Coast and all, but as someone who's from the East Coast, (And also the countryside) It would be nice to have a map thats less urban and more spread out. East Coast and Italy are both large maps with cities in them but have large spread out areas which are better for long distance delivery missions, not just highway driving either, would be nice to drive larger trucks or semi's further on more challenging roads!

    2. The T series Logging upfit/trailers. It would be really cool to get dynamic loading on them (If you add East Coast for example) to do logging! Also, for dumptruck upfits in general it would be nice to get dynamic loading for aggregate, even if its just adding the cargo box into the dump bed! Right now the dump trucks are kinda useless in career mode.

    3. Another T series suggestion, A modern hood with a modern dash. This is probably not going to happen anytime soon as there was just a big upgrade for the T series, but hey a girl can hope right?

    4. Trailers, specifically a car hauler trailer, would be interesting to have to haul car loads from point A to B, on any map really this works, even if for missions the cars are 'fixed' as part of the trailer and not driven onto the car hauler (Traditional US Semi-truck car hauler in mind here)

    5. Well an addition to 4 kinda, but the ability to I guess bind hauled cars to something hauling them, for example when you put a car on a trailer irl you usually ratchet strap or chain it to the bed, this doesn't mean it wont fall off of course if you're crazy, but it usually prevents it from sliding around, it would be nice to be able to trigger a sort of 'trailer mode' when you park a car so that its less likely to slide around or roll. It would be nice to be able to toggle what wheels or bumper parts are 'chained down' too so that mods that add tow trucks that aren't traditional flatbeds, can attach them without fear of them rolling off of the tow thing (Think Repo mod, some cars will always roll off of the repo tow attachment no matter what you do, which in reality you'd secure the car so it can't roll off) I don't expect this one, because lord only knows what that would do to the physics, but it would be a nice quality of life thing! Even if its just a "Attach a tow rope to Car 1 and car 2" when you're in walking mode, useful for when you bin a low riding car into sand or mud and cant get it out so you have to go get a vehicle that can rather than just using the quick options.

    6. Police mode! Right now there are police scenarios, which is great! But it would be awesome if we could buy our own car and make it a police car (Which we already can do) But actually get to use it outside of scenarios, add a speed radar, and a way to 'clock in' as an officer, and then have a trigger for AI cars to be doing illegal things (Running red lights, speeding, ect) A random encounters if you will. And you get a random chance of if they'll pull over for the police lights and you can issue them a ticket, or if they choose to flee and you have to stop them. (Maybe letting you call in additional AI support officers or roadblocks using the map function somehow?) This would be a major investment but it would be really cool.

    7. And now a completely useless idea that adds nothing to the game but atmosphere. When you start in career mode, you have the garages, but it would be super cool if there were 'houses' And by houses I mean structures with parking spaces. You start with nothing but your car of course and the current storage thing and stuff, but you can buy a 'house' for X amount of money, at first a trailer or something small, maybe an apartment if its west coast, and you get a parking spot, that spot is always yours and its a place where you can park your car for quick access, its always loaded in that spot, something we can already do of course, but as you save up and play the game, you can buy nicer houses, houses with a garage, again ignoring the house part and more focusing on the garage, you move from just a driveway or parking space to having a garage you can pull your cars into, at first maybe a shed, then a single car garage, and eventually a nice house like the houses on west coast with 2 car garages. And it also acts as a quick travel point, a place where you can change small things on the cars, maybe somehow restricted since its not a 'big garage' per say. It just feels nice to be able to work up to something other than just the cars, I'd like to be able to say "Not only did I buy all my cars, I bought a house!"

    8. And finally, another complex idea that probably wont happen Car 'flip' mode/dealership ownership. It would be super cool to be able to buy a car dealership in the game and buy and sell cars, modify them or repair them, and then list them on your lot for more money and based on the price you set and the time on the lot it will randomly generate offers or trigger them to sell. Also offering trade ins or something? I don't know how this would work at all but with how complex beam is with being able to customize cars, it would be super cool to be able to have your own customs shop/dealership!

An addendum to 8, it would also be nice to be able to buy brand new cars rather than just the used ones. Where you get to pick color and stuff but otherwise its a stock car thats an 'official' trim (I.e. the preloaded trims but you get to pick the colors and stuff and it comes with 0 miles on it rather than it being a used car) I could see this being useful especially if ware and mileage eventually becomes more of a thing.
