Something which is really hard to find in car games are Ignition Chimes, to me, it is a really neat and cool detail whenever is present in a game, and i think that a game, so realistic as beamng, should have this detail, since there is different ignition positions.I would love to see this feature getting added into the game and would make the game more special
True, since 2022 ive been trying to find a mod/update like that. But i think they actually should do that, like not even an update like atleast a mod. If we can change engine sounds easly then we could make an easy sound mod of chimes. Some guy on youtube did say 8 years ago and people commented 3 years ago saying "When" and he said that he doesnt know cause his friend made it and hasnt heard from him. So yeah i think the modding community should do a chiming mod like that, when you start the car. Another thing i just thought while writing is like a key which is in the car and when you start it up it turns and then goes back like real keys. That could be realistic for the chime. But im trying to find a chime mod, if someone makes one i wanna download it. I wanted to make it today but it says restricted file, cause i think they restrict sound files so people dont sneak malicious stuff into it. So i dont know what to do with that. So yeah thats basically it.
This would be a great addition to the vanilla game that I wish was a thing. It can't be that hard to add that kinda sound.
id make it if somone could teach me how to access the vanila games car states and whatnot... basically teach me 50% of how to make it
